Figured i would share some RC trucks i have been modding over the last year or so,having got bored of there plasticy appearance,i mad max-ed them up,they are all fully functional Remote Control Vehicles and modded in various ways for things like rock crawling,strength,weight lifting,night lighting so on.
Will be modding them more with various painted decor&gear and parts will likely post them here as the new parts are added to to the trucks,but you know Barter-Town style objects naturally.


All 3 So far,(will be working on another this year a 6x6)

New Rim's & Some internal Parts Painted up.
Mainly Aged Gold because it fits the whole post apocalypse theme,Some Rustys Also.

New Truck to be weathered and modded,already has some minor drive shaft mods,but cannot upload as i well document them and there are alot of images non to do with painting.



Ideas so far for additional pimpification of my trucks thinking some Lumber&Steel (Cleaned Sticks and Scrap),Camo&Bed Rolls (Old Fabrics),Extra Fuel/Nos tank(Small Vegetable tin,Sweet tubes,electronics scraps) Sand Boards(Wood Offcuts Drilled)Snow Chains(Cheap Jewelry Chain) Bungie Cords(Elastic Bans with Paperclip,Split Ring Attachments) Don't know how many i will actually make or add to the trucks,but some brighter coloured objects to break up the dark theme a little would be nice. Any other ideas for addons would be nice.

These are cool. You should look up weathering tutorials online and get them dirtied up even more as I still don't 'believe' that they're post apocalyptic vehicles. Get some chipping on them, a smashed window here and here, maybe some rusted areas, some streaking fluids and a tonne of dry dirt powders in the recessed areas and they'll start looking like they've come from the wasteland.
