Hello Dakka,

Looking for some color help to finish my new Escher leader figure. Hair colors will be in the violet to blue violet range with bronze/gold hair accessories.

Having a hard time figuring out colors for the fur on the coat and the gloves, not to mention the plasma coils

Color range for the gang is generally blue violet, violet, red violet. Spot colors are bright yellow green, hot pink.

I'd change the loincloth to a purple to match the coat, then do the hair a bright green. Then the Plasma coil orange.

Love seeing the old models get some action. Maybe go wirh a warmer color for the fur. Cheetah or tiger? Bright blue or green for the plasma coils.

The big contrast color for purple is yellow. so why not a golden brown fur coat. its also a brighter color so would draw attention to the face which is good.

But then id also do a yellow loincloth as well.

Various purples, 'leathers' and greens is my jam.

I would very strongly consider painting the loincloth black, extreme-highlighting it and then dowsing it in Druchii Violet, if your intention is to do 'leather' on the stockings and brassiere. If it is, I would make the gloves either 'leather' or Druchii Violet, too.

I would then do the plasma coils a sickly sort-of lime green and her hair a neon, electric pink. I'd do the fur as fur. Zebra or unspecified big-cat, depending on how brave I felt.

I'd also give her a whip, but that's my cross to bear.

Personally I don't bother with the colour wheel stuff (you end up with waaaay too many repetitive schemes), but one big no-no is blue and purple generally speaking. Sometimes it works okay (Genestealers, etc.) but they're pretty close for not matching. Becomes a little boring.
