I've never used the ignore button, but today I noticed there was a post that was ignored as I was scrolling through a thread. I checked my profile and the user appeared in my ignore list, but like I said, I've never ignored anyone.

Not sure if this is some kind of glitch or if I did something accidentally. I removed them from the list and that seems to be sticking.

It's possible your screen lagged and you hit the button by accident while meaning to hit multi-quote or friend or something. It's never happened for me on Dakka, but I've had it happen on other sites.

Tried to ignore bbb just to see... I get a prompt popping up asking if I'm absolutely sure I want to do that.

Seems like you could very easily hit the button while tapping 'friend' or the report button, or even multu-quote, but that confirmation message is pretty hard to miss.

I support this new feature of having some Dakkanaughts pre-ignored. It will certainly save time and angst.
