Hi thank you for looking in.

So I just have an itch to scratch, which is to build some Battlefleet Gothic Ork ships. I have seen the images up from google, and it is a real struggle to find anyone putting a scale to these things, I am working from a guess that the smallest are approx. 1" and the largest are approx. 5". Here are a couple WIP shots of my early progress, hoping to get some feedback as to how they look and if I am anywhere near on the size.





I could do with some help on this I think I am in the ballpark for scale but would like to know if i am drastically off or not.

That sounds about right Cam, if you have some spare flying bases lying around it could be worth checking your ships against them. The escort sized ships seem to be about the length of the base of a small stand with the cruiser being about the same length as the large size.

Ships look decent from what I can see, you going to cover them in guns and gubbins?

Wherever there is a diameter there was an engine/thrustery bit attached that I measued. I can take some photos of them next to rulers if you'd like. If you do state your preference for cm or inches.

You know in the past I've seen little models of Thunderbird 5 that are about the size of an Ork escort. A converted one would fit in nicely with your fleet.
