I am looking at making grey hunters, and I got some chaos ones from a friend. Some of an arrow or two pointing one way or in both directions does that matter or should I file that down?

Depends, I'd say. Futhark has an arrow looking rune, so if you have a single arrow in that style you could easily keep it on. Possibly separate it from a trim if it connects to one to highlight that it's a rune.

If it's a cluster of arrows that you often see on Chaos models (usually three, but I don't know about your specific ones) it might take it a little too much in the direction of Chaos to be easily overlooked.

If your intent is to call back the classic depiction of the 13th company, of course, leaving on some Chaos symbols may not go amiss.

Just looked two have the single upward arrow and two of skulls. Just need to file a little away from the base and good to go. Thanks.

Paint can hide a multitude of sins. If they're painted like space wolves they'll look like space wolves. The arrows can just be decoration or barbaric general spikiness.

I'd shave the arrows off. They're a chaos symbol. It's easy enough to do with a small scalpel or hobby knife.

Or, y'know, 13th Company?

It would be easier to scrape off the Chaos symbols than to add all the Chaos armor to make 13th Company!

That said 13th Company ftw.
