I'm searching for a way to build alternative Crusaders for an arabic/african styled IG regiment. Some interesting parts I found are for legionaries from Kromlech:

Even if they are intended for "counts as space marines" they don't seem too bulky and leaving out the enormous shoulder plates this might possibly work, if they are not far too tall.

Can anybody tell me, if these legionaries are the size of the "old" marines or more like the new primaris marines?

I don't have any of those bodies, but I've got a couple of the sets of the legs and they are 'old' marine size (they are a fair few years old now, pre-dating the launch of primaris by a bit).

I think kromlech label things 'prime' if they are primaris size (eg: https://bitsofwar.com/home/827-prime-legionaries-bodies-tabards.html)

Yep, the Prime stuff is Primaris sized (and rather good!), the other stuff is classic marine scale.
