I've got 40 Skaven plague monks I wanna use in 40K as a multi-use horde unit.
They will be Cultists, Pox Walkers, even Plague Bearers or Daemonettes ("Daemonites")

I'll most likely go with dark greys and browns for thier robes, but I'd like some suggestions to add some color to them that doesn't necessarily scream Nurgle, but still could be Nurgle or Slaanesh.
Theme-wise, these models are going to represent Chaos worshipping Xenos/mutants or lesser Daemons from and Warp entity other than the big 4.

Any thoughts?

So after some thought, this is the scheme I think I'll go with:

Robes - mix of browns, dark greys.
Skin - pale pinkish
Fur - dark purple
Both the Skin and Fur will be washed with Druchii Violet
Boils - yellow dot washed with a dark red.
Knives - sliver with turquoise wash for corrosion/poison

Overall this should have just enough vibrant colors to "pop" mixed with the dull earth tones of the robes. It should look suitable Nurgle or Slaanesh depending on what I need.
Avoiding tans, browns and flesh tones on the skin & fur should help the idea that these are Alien/Deamonic in nature.
