IMO, the height of a Dreadnought should not be too high,

That is to say, huge dreadnought (such as redemptor dreads) are a wrong design route.giant size make them become a obvious target in battlefield.
and huge size means huge weight, which will affect dreadnought’s tactic usility, weights, make huge dreadnought (typically,Redemptor and leviathan) are too bulk to fighting in narrow and/or urban environments.them can’t even get into the house and stump down the floors.

So, a huge dreadnought is not a good idea. BIG dreadnought = BAD dreadnought.a reasonable dreadnought’s height should never exceed 4 meters————5.5-6cm in miniatures size.

This means that the size of Castaferrum pattern (the boxes) is a reasonable design.but but the problem is that they look so ugly and awkward, they are old miniatures for more than 20 years. after all.

So, what miniatures of similar size(5.5-6cm heigh) can be used to kitbashing into reasonable Dreadnought?

such as diaclone.

Dreadnoughts are supposed to be big. That's what they are. They are supposed to be figureheads, and their armour is upscaled to counteract the large target they present. Plus they need the size to contain the life support /sarcophagus thing to hold the wounded pilot, aswell as the massive weapon systems. They wouldn't need to fight in confined corridors because they'd just take them down. Otherwise you may as well just have half dead space marines kept live by their regular armour. But this is a conversation for the lore area. Personally I don't think a small dreadnought would look very good, bu I'm sure there are many things you could make one with.
