Can anyone recommend a bluey grey colour like The Fang but darker, Ideally I would like to work upto The Fang as a highlight.

The fang with black mixed in it. Or the fang with dark blue mixed in it if you fancy living dangerously.

Thanks, I already considered that but I’m painting an Apocalypse size army so I'm trying to save time but I suppose I could mix up a large batch, don’t know why I didn’t think of that before.

Possibly try Vallejo turquoise or P3 coal black?

Have you tried the contrast gray over the Fang? Thin it down and you'll get shading too.

Was thinking VMC Field Blue or Dark Sea Blue, but thing is, the way paint looks on a picture or comes out of the pot or looks on paper or miniature to what you actually want is often so different I think it's always better to just cherry pick ~3 different ones and try them yourself.
