Evesham

Hey folks,

I've been back into GW for around 3 years now, focusing mainly on painting but I'm getting itchy to play some games. I have a Blood Angels army that is yet to be blooded but I've only recently moved to Evesham and don't know any gamers around here. Are there any clubs or group of players in Evesham that would be open to taking a novice player on? As far as rules go, I have the standard rules found in the 40K box, plus the Blood Angels codex but I am more than willing to get any updates if needed. I have my own transport but sadly no room at my house to host a game. Casual games or long-running campaigns, I'm up for any of it, I just want to play. Would require patience as I'm not too au fait with the rules. The last time I played 40k, you got a cardboard ork dreadnought in the box, to give you an indication of how long it has been.

To try and make myself seem more appealing, I also have several Blood Bowl teams and the LOTR boxset.

Now to wait to be inundated with offers.....

Thanks

Clive

Evesham

Hi,
I moved to Evesham from Birmingham beginning of August 2019, there are two localish gaming clubs one specialises in CCG's and the other non GW games mostly historical both about 5-10 miles away I think, I'm late 40's been gaming since early 80's and have been hoping to ind like minded individuals for a beer, curry to discuss painting, warhammer, oldhammer, etc, not played W40K for ages, I have got all the new games mainly to paint the miniatures, concentrating on Blackstone Fortress at the moment, can't commit to regular games but could be up for a monthly game at the moment as we are still making good the new home, kind of learn the rules together on the fly, having a laugh and a beer.

Hi guys

I used to live in Evesham and there were a few places I played. The first was Big Orbit Games in Blackminster business park, mostly CCG but they have 40k tables and terrain, usually they play on Thursdays I believe.

The other two were gaming clubs, Wyvern Wargamers, focused mostly on historical but there are some 40k players there too if you post on their forum you might find them, The last was my current gaming group in Redditch, which used to be called Redditch Wargaming Society but we recently rebranded as Redditch Tabletop Gamers. We have a large number of 40k players and play on Tuesday nights in Redditch - it is reachable from Evesham as I used to when I lived there. Best place to reach us is via our Discord chat server but we also have a website and forum too.

Hope that helps.
