So, if I have an ability that increases the attack characteristic of a unit, does it increase the number of attacks with each weapon or do I have I choose a single weapon to have its number of attacks increased?

Most abilities actually say “increase the attack characteristics for all weapons in the unit by X”. Can you either quote the scroll, or point it out so we can look on the AoS app?

The ability says "Add 1 to the Attacks characteristic of Khorne units while they are wholly within 8" of any units with this ability. This ability has no effect on Wrathmongers"

Ok, yeah, so all attack characteristics. Each thing on their attack profile increases by one.
