So I'm looking to go to a tournament in November with a Mordor list. Here's what I'm thinking of taking:

Shagrat (Leader)
-Shield of Cirith Ungol, Heavy Armor
x6 Morannon Orcs, Shields, Swords
x5 Morannon Orcs, Shields, Spears
x1 Morannon Orcs, Shield, Spear, Banner

Morannon Orc Captain
-Shield
x5 Morannon Orcs, Shields, Swords
x5 Morannon Orcs, Shields, Spears

Kardush the Firecaller
x3 Orc Warriors, Shields
x3 Orc Trackers
x2 Warg Riders, Shields

I haven't played a lot, but at lower points levels Shagrat seems capable of handling a lot of the heroes that I'll be facing. The Morannon Captain can march, and Kardush can throw out Flamebursts and use the not-Morannon Orcs to recharge his will.

It's not a lot of warriors at 33 models but the Morannons aren't half bad in combat and the banner will let a good number of them reroll their dice in combat. The couple of Warg Riders are there in case I need something with speed to hold enemies off of objectives until the infantry can arrive, or plug/move through a gap.

Shagrat is great and the morannons are decent enough too. Maybe consider swapping the captain to a budget wraith for
some utility/standfast courage for when things hit the fan.
