Hello! I used to play Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 many years ago when I was at school, and have always been interested in Black Library stories. But have very recently returned to Warhammer 40k and have started collecting Space Marines and created my own successor chapter derived from the Blood Angels, the Angels Revenant. Have got a small force together, all assembled and painted (my first efforts at painting - in the past my friends painted my models). Am looking to start playing very soon!

Thats an effective alternative to the blood angel colour scheme. Quick to implement to if one needs tabletop standard in a jiffy.

Thanks. Started off very simple but managed to embellish some of the more senior models once I got some Castellax bronze paint.
I have written some fluff for the Angels Revenant:
In the aftermath of the Devastation of Baal, BLOOD ANGELS Chaplain Darian Aarush (who had been presumed dead), rose from the carnage. He scoured the battlefield, seeking out and finding survivors of destroyed Chapters and leading them back from the brink of death to the feet of Commander Dante himself. Inspired and awed by the Chaplain’s actions and resolve, Dante hailed the company of revenants and sanctioned the founding of the ANGELS REVENANT Chapter, with Darian as its Master.
And here's a quote from Darian Aarush I've composed:
The Battle-Brothers of the Angels Revenant should have died in the Devastation of Baal. That they live is nothing less than a miracle: a testament to the Will of the Emperor and the Spirit of Sanguinius. Woe betide any foe that stands against them! On wings of fury have they risen from the dead, and on wings of fury shall they descend to smite the enemies of the Emperor and the Angel!
