After seeing a recent game I was inspired to do this list.

No vehicles (except the Dreadknights) but highly mobile due to Interceptors and Dreadknight Teleporters and Gate of Infinity.

With Bolter Discipline and Astral Aim helping make the ranged firepower very much better I think this list could deal with alot of opponents.

Of course it won't stand up against mega firepower but any balanced list would be a fun game

Mixing heavy weapons in a squad is a bad idea. You'll inevitably have a spot where you REALLY need some anti-armour, but instead of having 2 psycannons in the unit you have one and a psilencer.

Also consider having a Strike unit with pure storm bolters, to take maximum advantage of psybolts.

NDKs are total crap. It is worth every point to upgrade to a GMDK.

The four best units in our codex are, in order: GMDK, Draigo, shooty Ven Dread (with Astral Aim), Stormraven. You have one of them. You also have the worst units, the NDK and the Purgation squad.

Psycannons are overcosted and are very shoddy on PAGK. If you really want them, take Termies. (A minimum unit of Termies is not a terrible choice. Coming out of Deep Strike they can definitely make their points back in killing infantry.)

Our shooting anti-armour is on Dreads--both the -naughts and the -knights. Take a Ven Dread with las/missile, put him behind a wall, and astral aim hit whatever you want for the entire game. Most "ignores LoS" weapons have an anti-infantry profile, so he'll be relatively safe.

The rest of our anti-armour is melee. Draigo and GMDKs do well in this aspect. Dreadnoughts can perform as well, but they have trouble getting there.

Hello Elric.

I can see your point with everything you say except the Purgation Squads. 4 Psycannons is never shoddy in my experience. I will admit though that Terminators are better due to better armour save and Inv.

Just wait till physic awakening hopefully makes our knights playable again. Otherwise just mix a paladin squad in with dreigo to IG or imperial knights or space marines and actually be able to play.

Well, I play GK similarly.
The problem is that the GK Marines (Strikes, Interceptors) die too easily. Every loss counts.
As said, I'd wait for psychic awakening.
