This game is looking sooooo good thus far. I'm loving the slow-but-steady drip of new models which should be good for it as a competitive game, but also just for hobbyists looking to paint more readily available superhero models than Knight's Minis.

The movement widgets, and irregular card size kill any excitement I may have over the game.

The pieces look great though.

Incidentally Ash. as per your video. The Gencon models, even if they won't admit it, were clearly painted with Contrast paints, so you'll get great results.

I've replicated the Gencon paintjobs really well. For example, Hulk is actually Iyanden Yellow, then covered with a 66% diluted Warp Lightning.

Baron Kegels... ;-) outfit is outright Volupus Pink, and the lower bits being Magos Purple, right out of the pot. :-p

On the movement widgets; Star Wars Legion uses something very similar and while the lengths are proprietary they're not... really. What they're doing is accounting for base size to create front to front measurements while measuring front to back. You can see it pretty clearly here:

Surprisingly, even the larger bases account for this by being lengths that add exact inches over the base. In any case, it's probably worth checking as I bet this game's measurement tools can be pretty trivially replaced with a tape measure. We often use one for Legion, though the widgets are useful enough I tend to use them still.
