New faction and new chaos army, like the mounted only list, variety is fun. Not keen on Mantic dwarfs but each to their own. No figures with the gun teams? I am however considering buying Mantic Chaos Dwarfs.......
Doesnt the Hammerer champion get to stand and shoot?......

Like the mix of old and new chariot models, they blend better than I thought they would. Why no Gorebeast? Not complaining though, I have two chaos chariots and didnt build a Gorebeast either......

Forgot how deadly organ guns were, when you dont roll 2 or misfire repeatedly for number of shots. However Tzeentch disclord with ward save, I can see where that was going. Good call on shooting the chariot instead.
Fifteen minutes in......
20 shots from organ gun! but bounces off the disclord, to be expected, those things are flying cheese.........
Now over thirty minutes in......
Lords fight it out, surprised at how undertooled the dwarf king is. This is a mistake, especially against chaos......

Subject: Dwarfs vs Warriors of Chaos 2000 pts.[video HD]
This monsterous beast is a 'counts as' chariot. Ignore the comment on the page, it is confusing it does come with the base supplied, it doesnt come with an extra plastic base.
The creature above is evidently terrain handling while a chariot is not, apart from that it is a good stand in as the base is 100x50mm. I thought of adding a howdah so it is more like a chariot with a crew of two, but didnt bother.
I recommend MOM miniaturas, good company, great miniatures.
Automatically Appended Next Post: I would have used gorebeasts on dwarfs. I like steed chariots, they look better and are cheaper, but they rely on squashing the opponent on the charge. Trouble is dwarfs refuse to run away, and when they hold the horse chariot is then at a disadvantage. Gorebeasts kill dwarfs in static combat. Use horse chariots to fight humans and elves, break therm efficiently on the charge then charge something else.
