Obviously new to Dakka, but not to the game.

Been playing since 3rd edition, and while I started as a Guard player amassing somewhere close to 5k points, it was a daunting army to paint.

Dabbled in Daemons as well, and am now putting together a Salamanders force.

Easy to paint, and I wont have to worry about them going out of style. Even found myself some 2nd ed Rhinos to add to my collection! I truly enjoy the painting aspect but even then I know I am nowhere near on the level of even experienced painters. I also don't really enjoy competitive gaming. Friendly games with average lists that are simply filled with stuff people thought was cool, not necessarily what they considered optimal.

Perhaps I'll swing by another forum and post my current possessions, and see what I could pick up to improve though, as I get pretty handily wrecked with my current setup.

Photo of some Sternguard I finished up a while back.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
