Hi there - I am somebody who likes to paint models, but I don't play the games. I just bought a ton of second hand GW models to paint but I don't know which color scheme / clan to go with. I got 11 warbikers and 120 grotz, 10 loonsmasha fanatics, and 5 sporesplatta fanatics as well as Mollog's Mob and Zarbag's Gitz. I know nothing about this game but in case I ever want to play, I thought I'd better paint it right the first time. I love the look of the moonshrine BTW and love the moonclan logo but other than that I know very little. HELP ME PLEASE!

1) Buy the Gloomspite Gitz Battletome. That'll answer all your questions & be useful when you eventually play.

2) The warbikes will not be useful here in Age of Sigmar. They belong to the Orks in the 40k sci-fi version of the game.

3) They usual color you see Bad Moon Gloomspites grots painted is black robes, green skin, yellow bad moon symbols, misc details as seem appropriate - brown for wood, steel for blades etc. But there is no "right" way" to paint them. Never has been. So if you think they'd look great in some other color? Then paint them that way.

Thanks for that - that's the color scheme I like anyway. I didn't think the warbikes worked in the same world.I saw a grot on the back of a vehicle and a squig too. Wondered how they crossed over.

There's grots & squigs in 40k. Grots there tend to be the techs, cannon fodder, gun crews, etc. Squigs are often depicted as effects & wargear.

Just no warbikes on the fantasy side.
