So im looking for what a good 2nd legion to go in hand with my world eater army. Something more on the shooting side to help the lack of shooting from my world eaters.

I run Alpha Legion and World Eaters myself. WE up front and AL.in the back with that sweet -1 to hit.

If you want 'shooty' Emperors Children. Not fluffy though as they hate each other.

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

Sadly the requirement of chaos soup these days basically threw that god animosity fluff out the window a long time ago. The Daemons codex pretty much punishes you for mono god and expects several flavors of soup

"Courage and Honour. I hear you murmur these words in the mist, in their wake I hear your hearts beat harder with false conviction seeking to convince yourselves that a brave death has meaning.
There is no courage to be found here my nephews, no honour to be had. Your souls will join the trillion others in the mist shrieking uselessly to eternity, weeping for the empire you could not save.

To the unfaithful, I bring holy plagues ripe with enlightenment. To the devout, I bring the blessing of immortality through the kiss of sacred rot.
And to you, new-born sons of Gulliman, to you flesh crafted puppets of a failing Imperium I bring the holiest gift of all.... Silence."

I run Iron Warriors with my WE sometimes. The ability to ignore cover is pretty huge imo. Things like Deredeo dreads with missiles, havocs, and obliterators.

I second this. Filling in the WE gaps with supporting fire from Iron Warriors units works well, and is actually fluffy (there's several books where they can be seen fighting together). This is my Chaos go-to when I want to give my Death Guard a rest.

Edit: I just googled ablutions and apparently it does not including dropping a duece. I should have looked it up early sorry for any confusion. - Baldsmug

Psiensis on the "good old days":
"Kids these days...
... I invented the 6th Ed meta back in 3rd ed.
Wait, what were we talking about again? Did I ever tell you about the time I gave you five bees for a quarter? That's what you'd say in those days, "give me five bees for a quarter", is what you'd say in those days. And you'd go down to the D&D shop, with an onion in your belt, 'cause that was the style of the time. So there I was in the D&D shop..."
