BoC models besides Tzaangors. I’m asking specifically about the battalions, spells, command abilities and endless spells, if running full Tzaangor.
Only gavespawn (One of the traits/Greatfray) is worth taking and other than that, they will do better in
DoT. you take B.c b.c you can give all units (basically) +3" movement and cheap fast units. But
DoT rules are better over all for pure Tzaangor. The only thing really that is better is you can 1 Drop in
BoC with a full tzaangor army, tho
DoT battalion is 4-6 units and must take a Skyfire unit, the ability is better in
DoT battalions, (
BoC is non wizards gets 1 unbind at 9").
With Gavespawn tho, you can make a large unit +X attacks, 1
atk per 1
CP. in theory you can give a unit 5+ attacks, a unit of 9 Disks, or 30 Tzaangors could turn 1 or turn 2 charge multi units and deal an insane amount of damage. But its not very practical. You can also give out a -1 to saves to be effectively -2 on anything easily. Tho
BoC don't have plus to casting and normally don't get their spells off without the Shamans Re-rolls once a game,a nd then vs other
DoT/Nagash,
CoS,
SCE, they can either auto dis spell or just +2/3 to unbinds. That is what
BoC brings +
atks, +movement.
IMO, just go
DoT, as their summoning is better and you can buff them better, yI do want to try Tzaangor Coven myself, attacking twice seems really good.
