I'm going to post pictures of my minis as I finish them to help maintain my motivation.

My first miniature today is "Inquisitor with glove and combi-weapon" from around 1989. He has the 2nd edition Marneus Calgar's backpack. I'll use him to represent a young puritan inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos. I'm not sure what sort of combi-weapon that is supposed to be? Any ideas?





My second mini is the navigator Espern Locarno from Blackstone Fortress.

A few Deathwatch marines for the inquisitor's retinue.

A feral world Ogryn for the inquisitor's retinue. This is a C23 Ogre sculpted by Jes Goodwin.

Here we have an Inquisitor and an Imperial Guardsman from the Armageddon Steel Legion.

Love the classic minis. Although they do remind me why I didn't get those Inquisitors when I had the chance. They are a bit gormless. The second one looks like he's stepping over a barbed wire fence!

No reflection on your paintjob, though.

A trio of VF-1A Valkyries for Robotech RPG Tactics.The mecha can transform, so you need three miniatures for each one you have in your army. Fortunately, they cost a lot of points!

A pair of Administratum Scribes for Warhammer 40K. The one on the left is an Inquisition henchman from around 2003. The one on the right is an unreleased Rogue Trader model from around 1987 that was eventually produced by Wargames Foundry.

Love the scribes, I have that Foundry one somewhere and still have to build him...

Where is his eagle cowl from?

His torso, boots, and left arm are from a Custodes Vertus Praetor. His right arm is from an old Space Marine Assault Squad kit. His head is from an Empire handgunner. His thighs and butt were sculpted in greenstuff. The shuriken catapult is from some Eldar kit obviously, but I have no recollection of where I got it from.

I converted this Citadel Fiend Factory Werewolf to hold a gun!

Thanks! I was very much inspired by John Blanche's painting from the 2nd ed. Sisters of Battle Codex cover.

A D&D adventuring party. The first three are Reaper; the last one is a plastic WizKids mini. I'm particularly pleased with the gnome bard.



Various Citadel Giant Rats. I'm pretty sure the first three are Jes Goodwin sculpts, and the fourth one is a plastic mini that came with Warhammer Quest.

And one final miniature finished in 2020: Da Red Gobbo (and a fireplace somebody 3D printed and to sold me on eBay)!
