I spent a good bit of money on quite a few of Fallout Hobbies stencils.

I recalled their OE black stencils and when I saw they had switched to white, I didn't think much of it. But I've given them a solid go for about a year now and they frankly suck.

They are not vinyl, they are printable Avery labels. Because they are "printable" they are a kind of mix between paper and vinyl. They don't have the stretch that actual vinyl would have and the paper lacks the strength. I've used about six bags of these Avery Label stencils and half the time I damage the stencil just removing it from the backing, the more fine and detailed the more difficult it is to remove them without damage.

The OE. Black real Vinyl stencils were not like this. They also conformed to odd surfaces better than the labels which have almost no stretch and will tear if you try to get it to form to a complex surface without extreme care being taken. I had bought them back when they were black and they lasted and lasted which was why it took a while before I ordered more and when I did I ordered quite a few because of my good experience.. ugh paper "vinyl" stencils. If only I had known what WHITE meant.

They are "reusable" to an extent though.

Also the cutting is less than desirable and you can see where the "paper" aspect made for poor-cut on the machine.

But I was wondering if anyone else produced ACTUAL vinyl stencils like Fallout Hobbies used to.

Also make my own stuff using Mylar sheets. Might be worth exploring. However I'm not sure exactly what you need.

To some extent I make my own with frisket sheets but the die cut ones can be nice to have. I will look into anarchy models. Thanks.
