Hello, I'm new to the forum, and was wondering if there were any resident car stereo aficionados.

I've never bee a car stereo hobbyist, but did loads and loads of market research and am dropping a smorgasbord of car stereo equipment in my car, with the help of a friend for all the bits that are needed to maintain compatability with a modern
car (backup cameras, steering wheel controls, stuff like that).

I guess when I say "I'm dropping equipment", I mean "He's going to show me how."

In any case, I am amazed by the features of these modern head unita. Specifically the timer features. By measuring the distance of the speakers to my head (or any other point in the car), I can input those distances, and the speakers will output so they all hit me at the same time).

I bet something like that makes like a 0.05% improvement in soundscape quality, but it certainly seems cool.

Anyway, super excited about thianproject. This is actually on my life's bucket list
