Warcry is played a lot in my area, but i never cared about it because i didn't like the factions.

Now that the Seraphon have rules, i want to take a look at it. In order for that, i would kindly ask if someone can give me a quick rundown of what the game is, and what would i need to play it.

I know literally nothing about it.

Basically Warcry is an AoS skirmish game. Each player has a 1000 point warband, the only restriction being it must contain a Leader. Games are generated by drawing cards from four decks - terrain, deployment, victory & twist (but there are pre-defined games in the books).

You roll six dice at the start of the round and doubles, triples & quads can be used to unlock abilities.

I need to ask here, because it is Warcry for dummies qiestion.

I used to have the rulebook but I gave that as the base game away. Now I bought the Ogor Mawtribes cards and I want to play them.

But I forgott who are so big they can not walk through doors? Is it the Brute Icon?

Or rather a better way to ask is, do any of these Icons have special rules? I know leader has, because I need at leats one, but I can I have more? How about the rest?

- Brute
- Bulwark
- Leader
- Trapper
- Destroyer

IIRC most runemarks are only used to trigger abilities - the exception being Leader & Fly (but I'll check the book when I get home). You must take a Leader, and only one, but the rest can be whatever you want.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
RESTRICTIONS
Fighters with any of the following runemarks cannot move through archways:
• Gargantuan
• Mount
Fighters with any of the following runemarks cannot move through doors:
• Gargantuan
• Mount
• Beast
