Hi all, I've finally signed up after lurking for a while and admiring some of your amazing painting & modelling blogs from afar!

I'm a returning player, having collected Skaven in Warhammer Fantasy when I was in my early teens. I say "player", but I mostly enjoyed painting and found WFB to be pretty slow going! I then moved on to 40K which I found much faster and easier, but stopped when I went to college. I always missed painting though. A friend got a small box of paints with some Space Marines as a "joke" gift for my 30th and once I opened it up I was kinda hooked again.

Now I'm picking up scraps here and there from eBay to put together a few teams for Kill Team and maybe Necromunda now that it's back in the bigger picture! The skirmish games offer a great way to get back into things without dropping fat stacks of cash

Looking forward to mucking in!

Hi there. Welcome back to the hobby.

Kill Team is a good way to get back into 40k. Be careful of the books though, as they'll cost you more than you spend on models :(
Necromunda is a good game to have in the bag. I've just gone in with a 4-player campaign, and it's looking to be quite fiddly between games, but fun.

Get your models up into your Gallery when you have any. Vote for anything you like the look of, as there's a lot of inspiration in there.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
