Subject: [1500] - Custom Eldar Craftworld - Help me finish the list
Automatically Appended Next Post: I mean you dont have to listen to me but here what Id do:
1. Id sugets swapping out the spirit seer for a warlock so you can seer council to get a plus one. Spirit seer reroll aura only works if you are within 6 os the enemy unit so it really puts him danger close. So id sugest just having seer and warlock for buffs.
2. Id try going with mark of incomprabale hunter on the wraithseer with that D- cannon.
3. I'd put star cannons/twin BL on your serpent +CTM if spare points. I'd also add a star cannon to the wraithlord. so he has a BL/Star cannon configuration. Its grossly effective with EC.
4. Id run storm guardians instead of rangers.
5. Make it a specialist detachment for the extra attack strat.
With the pts you save you could fit more wraithlords, or go with walkers/support weapons depending on what models you have. Alternatively small squad of dark reapers.

Well, I'd take a unit of 5 Wraithguard w/ D-scythes in a Serpent or two of them.
Footslogging is a slow way to die.
You need more fire support, say in the form of flyers.

Annoyingly can't repeat any slots except troops and transports. Storm guardians? What would you do with them?
as in what loadout ? If you have spare pts and are running ECid chuck in some fusion guns. But ultimately, they are there to hold objectives and soak up firepower with celestial shield. If you have a spare protect thats 8 3++ wounds to chew through. for 48 pts its pretty good to fulfill that role.

I'll toy with a single squad of storm guardians with fusion blaster. I've geared up the Wave serpent more so now also. The spiritseer is my only painted HQ so think I'd keep him in regardless, also if the Wraithguard with Canons are jumping out with him I think it's no bother for him to be close, as I think I'd end up charging them in to finish them off with the bone fists which are quite strong if the target survives.
I've toyed with the Sniping D-Cannon idea before with the Warlord trait but I think the chances of him being alive by the time he can get in range are pretty slim. A more reliable protect/jinx I think would be great, I've always found that the trickiest power to pull off annoyingly with my dice rolls...
I've looked at the points and I can actually get 7 shining spears, could be a nasty cloud strike option +1 charge headstrong trait, makes them slightly more reliable to make it in, plus I lack speed so the flexibility to just have them zipping about tying up units is a good utility to have. Same for a potential max blob squad of banshees to do a job of clearing out a screen or tying up some tanks.

spirit stone on a wave serpent is also a decent investment IMO. Lots of people don't like that though.. With the damage reduction they are great little gun platforms especialy with EC, with masters of concealment that's an extra bit of save.
Park them on an objective and watch your opponent get frustrated trying to remove them
If you are going to do that with the spears, id suggest getting a somoene nearby for ghostwalk. That's a 6" charge out of DS but needs to be within 6" of the unit .
I was up against 23 shining spears recently with hunters of ancient relics /headstrong. Even with headstrong he failed a lot of charges. We discussed it after and decided that for spears out of DS, ghostwalk seemed bit of a necessity.

Read an article from goonhammer which swayed me on the banshees, don't think I want to commit the buffing to the Shining Spears to really get the most out of them as that's being diverted to my Wraithblades. Instead a max squad of Banshees to go out and touch stuff/tie things up whilst my slow moving force moves up. Then exactly enough for either a Night Spinner which could sit with the wrathlord in the back field (wraithlord working as a combat deterrent) or a Nightwing, but doubt that models going to survive a point nerf in the new FW books supposedly coming.
