They're really nicely painted! I'm thinking of doing something similar with a squad or two of my battle sisters, though maybe not trying to make them look quite so cute... I have some statuesque heads I think will look good. Which heads have you used? There's certainly one or two in there I'd be interested in using myself.

Also, is that 2b in the canoness getup? Is this a Sororitas army or a covert Ad-Mech force?

1.I am living in China so I use Taobao to buy the custom heads. Some of them are Kingdomdeath. The others are made by 3D printers. I think it is easy to get more nice heads in the other country.
2.Yes,the 2B is canoness from the big start pack. I like the blinded eyes because they are sexy! I just want to build a cute sister army and I will make a scene which is sisters fighting with Mutalith Vortex Beast (Don't ask me why Vortex Beast XD). So I will paint more cute face to replace the origin one.

3.BTW maybe it will helpful. I used cadian flesh to paint the coat and AV pale flesh to make the high light. Then add some pink with flesh color (almost 1:1) to paint the cheek. Then adjust them again and again.( 1 head costs 30 mins or 1 hour maybe)

Ah, okay, thanks for that. Might be a bit difficult to get hold of the exact same heads then, but could you tell me where your sister Grace and sister Catherine heads came from? Which models, if possible.

Grace is come from kingdomdeath (https://shop.kingdomdeath.com/products/pinup-warrior-of-the-sun-1),it has two face(masked an no mask) so you can choose one.
Catherine is an origin one by 3D printer.

That's great, thanks! Catherine's head actually looks a lot like Kingdom Death's Architect, I might use that one as a close substitute.

Good job they look great, I prefer some of these heads. I like the roped chicks in the mechs are those official GW or something else?

Yes, the ideas are come from Titanfall.

I love this take. Utterly mad and totally silly, but that is 40k and the galaxy is a big place!

This thread shouldn't fade too easily, these are great. Not grimdark enough for most of us by far, but so well executed and thoughtfully done. I love the flamer fireballs, the dismounted walker pilot, the water bases, the sprig of dried brush hiding the flight stand, the painting on the eyes and the skin tones... really excellent work.
