How would you make a competitive Iron Hands List?

Ironhand took a real big hitting for their usual builds, the old the Repuslor Executioner / Dreads - Duty Eternal - Ironstone combination making unkillable vehicles while staying in Devastator Doctrines for the whole game enjoying the buff to move and shoot. All gone.

But what is left unchanged couls still make IH pretty strong, here is what I think.

What is left unchanged:
1. Ironfather's 5++ for infantry hadn't been taken away
2. Chief Apothercary 5+++ for infantry haven't been taken away.
3. Stratagem "Mercy is weakness" haven't been nerfed.
4. Stratagem "Congitated Martydem" is still available for infantry.
5. You can still use a stratagem to put 1 unit back into Devastator Doctrine for a turn.
6. Stratagem "Grav Amplification" from the main codex unchanged
7. Droppod coming in Turn 1 from main codex unchanged.

So, by the combination of above, I think taking an Ironhand infantry dominate army may still be viable. Key units are as follows:

Character buffs: Ironfather Ferrios, Chief Apothercary, (Chapter Master, Lieutenant, Chaplain and Librarians are bonus if you have the points to spend, but not mandatory),
The hammer: 2 squads of Devastators with max Grav Cannons (full squad is bonus, but not definite required), in 2 droppods.
The anvil: 3 squads of 10 Intercessors, 2 squads with auto bolt rifles and 1 with stalker bolt rifles.

You now have all the infantry in range of Ironfather and Apothercay 3+/5++/5+++, one of the devastator squad comes in Turn 1 in range of Ferrios and Apothercary and target enemy heavy armors, with 20 Grav shots hitting on rerollable 2s, rerolling to wound and damages while being AP-4, and each wound of is two wounds I am sure this means death to the targets like Leman Russ Tank Commander, Exocrines, Hive Tyrants, Land Raiders, and the like. This could bring an IK low if they are not sporting the 4++, even if they do have 4++, it will take 20 wounds from them on average . If enemy light infantries comes to you, they will eat 60 auto bolt rifles shots. If you have CP left, you might also snipe some enemy key characters like GSC Patricak, Eldar Farseers, etc., with stalker bolt rifles.

When enemy try to revenge, they need to go through all those 5++/5+++. If they have snipers try to get rid of your characters, you pop "Congitated Martydom" to transfer MW on the Intercessors, who can offset those with 5+++ .

Come in your 2nd turn, bring in the 2nd Grav Dev squad, pop "Methodical Fire Power" for 1CP on them and do all the things above again

Good luck.

Probably something including a Master Apothecary with the 5+++ WL trait and Feirros for the 5++. If you're putting Feirros in there you're probably putting at least one vehicle in so he has something to heal. So something between an Impulsor and a Leviathan is where I'd start, then put the Ironstone relic somewhere to buff the 1+ vehicles you have. Then you'll need a Battalion or two and a bunch of heavy weapons to benefit from free re-roll 1s. With the free re-rolls stopping after the first turn you'll include a Captain as well for the continued re-rolls to hit, the Chapter Master Stratagem is too good to pass up so you take that on him. The rest is up to interpretation I think and I'm sure some will believe that the above aren't neccessities in a good IH list but that's where I'd start. If you wanted to do something radically different like flyer spam or something you'd be better off with a successor chapter I think.
