Blood for the blood god! Anyway, what are your thoughts on the Khorne faction? Good, bad, what works for you and what doesn’t? Including lore and gameplay. Also, has anyone ever run a “red tide” list with just HORDES of Bloodreavers? I have 110 of the bastards, and curious how a true horde of them would handle the game. The fact that I can get this many bodies and a character into a 1000pt game seems visually imposing, at least.

I have been using the barbarian-missile list many times. It is fun, and many people just doesn't expect a unit of 30 bloodreavers jumping on them turn 1. And they cost so little that you can have another 30 or even two other blobs of 30 ready for turns 2 and 3.

But is not like they are extremely competitive. I also have a khorne minotaur list and they are fun but a little meh. I ended up last on a 36 person tournament winning 0 of 6 games in two days :(

After that I changed my list to a Skullcrusher one with varanguard and a daemon prince of khorne with Sword of Judgement. People believes that Skullcrushers can't do damage if they don't charge but people really doesn't understand how much they tank buffed with a 2+ save. I had a unit of 9 kill a buffed up Keeper of Secrets prenerf in 3 rounds of combat with only 3 attacking per round. They lost two in return. That was the game where I fought agaisnt a triple keeper tournament list in the first round of a tournament and won. My 3 varanguard killed another keeper of seecrets and my daemon prince of khorne with sword of judgement did 28 mortal wounds to the third one. He could not summon more keepers because I basically ate the table and didn't let him a place to summon them.

I've always been kind of amazed that we never got a seperate khorgorath figure, considering they were among the first released for aos.

That's how many i've got, and they are quote fun to paint! I wouldn't mind another but they seem surprisingly pricey on ebay right now.
