Hey all, I’m starting a BA army and I want to be semi competitive with it, put up a decent fight in both competitive and casual. With that said here is my list below. My main question on is I think I may have gone a bit too heavy on the close combat and a lot of scout squads. I was thinking about taking some out and moving to a double vanguard battalion and add in some aggressors for some more shooting but I’ve already got 4 CP spent off the bat and starting the game at 6 CP might be a bit low. Seems pretty solid, sang guard, death company and your various characters are all really solid.

One thing I'd say is that you have 8 troop choices, not sure the extra 10 scouts are needed as they are giving no extra CP.

You could either swap them out for something with a little ranged punch, I like whirlwinds for cheap and cheerful los ignoring shots or some Eliminators if your ok with primaris.Or an extra squad of DC or a sang priest.

The other option is to remove three squads of scout and stick in a unit of 10 intercessors. They would provide you with some decent firepower and a surprisingly effective combat unit especially on turn three. Durable too

Awesome, thanks for taking a look at it! And yeah i figure I have too many scouts, I’ll see what I can do to clean those up, the intercessor seem like a good idea as a better way to hold some back line objectives as opposed to Boltgun scouts. Eliminators seem really cool, I definitely don’t mind the primaris. Thanks!
