Morning all,
I've been looking for a vampire model to lead my GW undead for some time - unfortunately the vast majority of vampire models include things like plate mail, wings and bestial visages, outsize bats etc. All things I was hoping to avoid.

I was after a model that could represent a more suave yet sinister vampire - expensive suits, slicked back hair, tall and handsome etc. Someone who knows they can flatten entire units but is more concerned about looking good while doing so.

The closest I could find was the Lucius Malfoy model made by Knight Miniatures but I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions? Also, if anyone has any scale shots of how the Harry Potter miniatures stack up against GW, that would also by much appreciated.

Edit: In case anyone else is having the same, somewhat niche, issue, some further searching has turned up another contender: Interrogator Karl from Artel W miniatures.

If you don't mind it being a female vampire, you might like Lady Hellena from Kromlech: https://bitsofwar.com/home/452-lady-hellena.html
You might also enjoy this guy in either configuration. I particularly enjoy the idea of a pumpkin head undead leader, but you probably want the normal head: https://anvilindustry.co.uk/vampire-hunter-pumpkin It says vampire hunter, but his outfit reminds me greatly of Alucard from Hellsing if he also wore partial armor. I do know you said you wanted to avoid plate armor, but I thought I'd throw him in as it's only chest and upper legs with lots of fancy clothes showing.
Could also look at her, though perhaps better used as named: https://anvilindustry.co.uk/masquerade-assassin
Another cool HQ choice for and undead army: https://anvilindustry.co.uk/death
You could also look through some of the Dark Sword Miniatures line: https://www.darkswordminiatures.com/shop/index.php/miniatures/elmore-masterworks/green-witch-swashbuckler.html Just know that they're not afraid to make models of topless females when it fits their theme.
While I can't personally confirm that these models are in the 28mm heroic scale, they do appear to be so you might be interested in the Strigoi, the Patricians, and the Guild models: https://ttcombat.com/collections/just-in/products/strigoi-single-miniature?variant=31953373855792
There's a few more I could look through, but if none of that appeals to you, your best bet is probably designing your own custom mini at https://www.heroforge.com/

It's pretty easy to work with and there's tons of options. Go ahead and play with it some. If you make a profile, you can save your creations. They have a variety of materials they can make them out of or you can download the files to 3D print them yourself.

SergentSilver thanks for the recommendations - the TTCombat models definitely look like they might fit the bill if the scale fits.

What's not to like when it comes to Venetian vampires?

Right? When I saw those I thought they fit the bill almost perfectly. Just Victorian fashion as opposed to the "expensive suits" you had initially mentioned.

Hey, I was browsing the Paizo Pathfinder models for possible 40k use since they are stated as 28mm scale and found this guy: https://paizo.com/products/btpy8ebc?Pathfinder-Miniatures-Skinsaw-Man He's treading the line of over the top movie villain/vampire looking, but if you want a more brutal/scary looking model for a vampire lord you might like him. Could also search around more as well, since I'm only looking in the metal models at the moment. Again, while I can confirm this time that their models are in the 28mm scale, I can't confirm how they match up to GW's Heroic 28mm scale that is currently creeping towards 32mm with the new Primaris marines. They might look closer to GW's 80s 25/28mm. If I buy any, I'll let you know after they arrive.
