I recently wrote a few posts on the Giant's Facebook page talking about how I set up the board when I play games and run demos. I have collected the posts and put them on the game's BGG page for easy reference. You can find the posts here: https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/307397/giants-action-figure-game-colossal-combat/forums/0

And here are a couple of pictures I took for the posts:

They are gymnastics foam pit blocks. I ordered them from a third party seller on Amazon. The ones in the photos are 4” x 4” but I also have some that are 5”x 5”.

I recently took a variety of cardboard boxes and other strange packing shapes and simply sprayed them grey. Then I used a concrete texture spray over that.

Simple but very useful for all sorts of games. Looks similar to your table.

That would work just as easily for Giants. Most players use whatever is handy and affordable.

In the past, I've used the small white card boxes to represent the building sections. My main issue with them was that they don't tend to hold up very well to repeated use or being carted around to lots of demos.

Of all the things I've used for buildings, the foam blocks are my favorite. They are lightweight, easy to store, durable, and have no trouble supporting the figures I use.
