I've seen some decent educational videos in a series called "oversimplified" that are pretty useful at giving people the barebones of major historical issues in a light and comedic way. They are no real substitute for serious study or even cracking a good book on the subjects they very lightly cover, but are better than nothing and do give you some of the real salients.
I do recommend them for people who are might be interested in some historical matters but not sure they want to out a lot of effort into studying them until they see if they're interesting enough. They don't have a lot of videos but I hope they do a lot more.

"But the universe is a big place, and whatever happens, you will not be missed..."
Blue's history videos on Overly Sarcastic Productions are pretty fun.
The Armchair Historian, The History Guy, and Suibhne do videos on various bits of history. Curious Droid and Mustard do similar things from a 'history of various bits of technology' view.
Kings and Generals and History Marche do good histories of battles and wars.
Drachinifel is great for naval history, especially for the first half of the 20th century. Military History Visualized and Military Aviation Visualized do a lot of the same period, specializing in land and air warfare respectively.
I expect by now you can probably find a youtube video on almost anything.
I’m a fan of random facts, the sort you learn from QI.
So I can recommend FactFiend with Karl Smallwood. It’s in the same vein as QI, but more pop culture etc. Videos can be sweaty, so won’t link to one just in case. Definitely worth checking them out.
Also “Today I Found Out”, another Simon Whistler show, which Karl Smallwood writes for (or did at any rate). Videos vary, and there’s often sponsorship stuff to push past.

GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units." Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?" Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?" GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!" Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.
Philosophy Tube is really fun. Very elaborate production in his newer videos, where he uses framing devices, different characters, costumes, songs etc. to discuss philosophy, both historical and examining modern issues through philosophical lenses.

Yeah his videos are fun, especially the ones examining court/lawyer scenes in film and tv
