2000 with 9th edition points correct me if im wrong. I like Onager over Disintegrator personally would have to get rid of a radier or two if i was to switch to disintegrators.

Greetings, fellow Tech-Priest!

I like your list, it's very similiar to mine. But I still think it needs some coorections:

1) Remove 3 Rangers from each squad so the enemy won't benefit from the new Blast rule. In this ed. MSU units will benefit the most! 3 Skitarii won't change anything, anyway.

2) Personally I find the Vanguards more useful in such a list, where you lack mobility. They will need to advance anyway, and since they are equipped with Assault weapons, they can still run and shoot at 4+!

3) Don't spam so many Neutron Laser: this weapon will be blast, so you can't shoot it if in engagement range. Since you are playing mars with Cawl, I suggest you to bring atleast 2 Icarus Array: this weapon gets great benefits from both this edition and the PA!

4) If you are going to spend CPs to play a Spearhead detach, you better get the max profit from it! So,I suggest you to swap some Skitarii and something else for a Belleros Skorpius or another Onager or you just "sacrifice" an Onager to make it a Battalion detach. Actually Mars is kinda CP consuming, so I suggest you the second, but it's your choice.

Anyway, overall you lack mobility, just like any other Kastelan-Cawl-Castle, and no-los shooting. You will just need lot of testing but I think, with some fixing, you can make it work

Thank you for the advice! I forgot that spearheads didnt refund CP so I probably will swap to a battalion and instead of onagers change to two ferrumite disintergrators becuase I will be able to have more points to use from taking one less vehicle and possibly a fourth unit of vanguard for screening or a second transport.

Thank you!
