...that the Grand Tournament 2020 Mission Pack included the blurb for battle ready armies, but omitted Detachments?

Funny? No.

If they did, its just to push sales of the Core book when its otherwise unnecessary for pretty much all the other rules.

I don't mind buying the core book (esp. for art and background), but it'd be nice if the mission pack had everything in a more portable & functional format. (Seriously, like 8th, the decision to put the rules ~200 pages into the book baffles and irritates me)
Leaving out ~five pages of relevant information is a crappy thing to do.

Didn't buy it.

Noticed it yesterday and was annoyed by it.
