Just a quick report. My son wanted to see what he could do against the Ogres. We played a modified version of Rivers of Death from the back of the rule book. We got the idea from the Mini Wargaming guys. The only change to the Rules in the book are that the type of river changes at the top of each turn.

So yeah I saw that one going differently. The Lizardmen took the day capturing both bridges. The river slowed down the ogres quite a bit. My Iron Blaster started of the game being out of commission for two turns. The unit of Ogres on the right got steamrolled by the Ancient Stegadon and his sharpened horns. The Ironguts and the Temple Guard butchered each other. The ogres to the left with the Tyrant were cutting the Saurus to pieces but Cold Blooded kept them in the game until the Tyrant whiffed and lost combat. The Mournfang just couldn't make a charge to save themselves. Still fun times the scenario is lots of fun, I highly recommend.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Close ups of the units and characters. Now!!!!

I am very interested in what you have done, I see a lot of conversions and it is always good to see how others convert.

Is your tyrant the ogre champion from Battlemasters.

Also the colour scheme for the lizards, can we see close ups. I have not painted my lizards yet and am looking at an orange or red base.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

Will do. I'll see if I can take some picks later today. The Ogres were my May painting pledge for the Squarehammer Facebook group. The Battlemasters Ogre is my BSB with some conversation work, but you'll see The Lizards are my son's it's his first army and he is learning but I admire his dedication to painting everything before he plays with it
