yeah so the title says it all really,
I'm looking to build a Nids vs guard diorama as a change of pace and was wondering which of the kits is the easiest to pose and cop up

and yes i might have recently watched starship troopers

The Hormagants would be good stand-ins for the Bugs in Starship Troopers. All melee, no guns.

They have dynamic leaping poses (fixed) but the front scythe-arms are posable, and so is the head.

I'm not sure about other small-nids. Termagants, based on the sprue shots on the website, looks like only the gun-arms and head are posable.

I've never built a Genestealer, but I don't think that would suit your purposes well anyway.

Both ‘Gaunt kits are the same setup. Body is in two parts, arms and heads are separate. They are interchangeable, so you can put the stabby claws on the skulking bodies, and the shooty ones on the jumpy ones.

Genestealers have two pairs of posable arms (with options on claw types), so are technically more posable than gaunts. Their bodies are fixed, though, just like the others. You do get a greater variety of heads and armor plates, too, which provides options.

They don't really feel "Starship Trooper", though, if you wanted to stick to that theme.

Warriors have tons of gear and posing options, but I don't know if they really count as "small".
