I found out that orks are in a different place then in 8th (not yet sure which one.... ). Blast hurts us but everybody needs to come to the centre of the board - what's good. Since I have some time (COVID-stuff) to think about a 2000 point (friendly) list. Kultur: Blood Axes (Morgargs finking kap is IMO a good relic, the option to retreat and charge or shoot is nice since in 8th my 30 man mobz were frequently tied up by vehicles and a possibility of 3+ vehicles a 2+ battlewagon (forktress + 18" from enemies) can be nice for the first turn) HQ - 1 Big mek (SAG) [Morgargs finking kap] => warlord trait "Kunnin' but brutal" (fire support and pre game redeployment) - 1 Warboss [power klaw, kombi rokkit launcha and attack squig] Warlord => warlord trait: "Brutal but kunnin'" (moves with the 30 slugga boyz) => Da biggest boss - 1 Weirdboy [Da jump] (to have mobility options with the jump) EL - 10 tankbustas (in battlewagon for ranged fire support) - 10 kommandos [nob wih powerklaw] (something to deep strike) - 5 nobz [1 big choppa] (holding a backfield objective) TR - 30 slugga boyz [nob with big choppa] (a target for "unstoppable green tide" / trying to have some board control) - 10 slugga boyz [nob with power klaw + boy with big shoota] (in battle wagon) - 10 slugga boyz [nob with powerklaw + boy with big shoota] (in trukk to race to a midfield objective) - 10 shoota boyz [nob with powerklaw + boy with big shoota] (in trukk to race to a midfield objective) - 10 grotts (grott shields for lootas or screening) - 10 grotts (grott shields for lootas or screening) FA - 1 kustom boosta blasta (early pressure with the burning highway to remove screens) - 5 stormboyz (a small fast unit which can "raise the banners on a midfield objective turn 1) - 1 deffkopta [kopta rokkits] (something fast that can be annoying) HS - 9 lootas [1 spanner with big shoota] => Klever spanner (long range fire support) - 1 battlewagon [1 lobba and grott riggers] => Forktress (protection for my tankbustas) - 1 killa kan [buzzsaw and big shoota] (holding a backfield objective) DT - 1 trukk [big shoota] (mobility for early objective grabbing) - 1 trukk [big shoota] (mobility for early objective grabbing) *That's 2000 points * 3 CP prebattle spent ("da biggest boss", "forktress kustom job" and "klever spanner) * 9 CP seems ok-ish for "unstoppable green tide" or "Get stuck in, ladz!", "da burnin' highway", "Loot it", "ramming speed", "more dakka", possible rerolls) I'm trying to make something different (than "evil sunz" and "deathskulls" and "Goffs with Ghazkull) to work in a semi-competitive setting.
