I couldn't find a thread about this but due to the title it's hard to filter...

I just finished Season 1 of Dark on Netflix. I watched it in German with English subtitles because apparently the English dubbed version isn't great.

This show is hard to describe without giving away spoilers so I will just say I am loving it so far and I highly recommend it.

I'm aware there are 3 seasons too so I should also probably try to avoid spoilers, lol.

When I saw the trailer I thought it was going to be a Stranger Things knock off but it's really not......

Love the show. Was really worried after each season finale, but they always pull through and follow the only possible explanations to the very end in S3.

From the very beginning, they had a story line they wanted to follow and it really shows. There are no late additions or changes that don't make sense respectively.
And it doesn't fall into the trap of many other shows that want to go on and on, because S3 is the definitive end of the show and the story is finished.

One of the best mystery series of the last 10-20 years for sure. Have fun watching it, I know we did.

Ah, awesome, I didn't realise it was 3 years old now, lol. Glad to hear the quality remains consistent though, it has been really, really good so far.

If mods want to lock this though as there's another thread and I will visit that thread once I've worked through the remaining seasons so I can avoid spoilers.
