I've just today completed my first unit of Early Byzantine Psiloi.

I took y time with them like I have done with the Dismounted Bucellarii and the torsion Engine but no doubt they they will be the one of the first units off the table top and be sitting back in the box!

Those look great. Did you add the rock because of an odd number of psiloi, or was that some rules issue?

I was going to pin on some bucklers by using a Dremel and had a little accident and mangled a miniature; thankfully not my digits! It was then decided to leave out the bucklers

I put the rock there in place of a mini. I think it's worked out quite well as it adds a kind of unbalanced look which suits the skirmisher bases.
