I've got images in my signature (links to companies & KS projects where I like the stuff)

and I noticed today that the available width has reduced so instead of fitting on a single line some of them had wrapped onto a second line so I've had to redo them (not a bad thing as some were very out of date)

i'm guessing that this is part and parcel of the 'font' update to the classic Dakka theme and I just failed to notice before? or is it a new glitch or change?

That will be a side effect of legoburner fixing the side scrolling issue. Turned out with the larger font, some longer usernames were breaking the left hand margin. So the margin now scales, but that would have a knock on effect of slightly narrowing the post area when a user has a long name.

It's that British spelling of "Technicoloured" that's to blame, darn it

It's would be the French, not the Hollywood studios. From Wikipedia:

"Technicolor" is the trademark for a series of color motion picture processes pioneered by Technicolor Motion Picture Corporation (a subsidiary of Technicolor, Inc.), now a division of the French company Technicolor SA.
