As a minor rule i'd suggest that if a cryptek has a pair of murdebuckets with him they count as one unit for purposes of special movement like VoD, deceiver's teleport, etc.

So a cryptek with murduebuckets can take them along if he uses VoD to move an infantry unit.

Seems reasonable. Maybe just slap on a sentence indicating they have to be (re)deployed within X inches of each other so that you can't opt to deploy the buckets on one flank and the cryptek on the other.

. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

Well yeah i assumed the vod would work normally with these. The murder buckets would remain in range of the cryptek.

Sure. And I guess VoD sort of covers that already. But you can see how someone might want to use our various teleportation methods to, for instance, relocate the cryptek onto one objective and the buckets onto another. I get the impression that your intent is for them to stick together, thus the suggestion to make it explicit.

I really don't know why someone would want to send his murderbuckets away from their cryptek. He loses their protection, they lose his buff, both lose, neither gain.
