So As many of you know BoLS has really become a SJW website and continues to push certain agendas. They prevent many posts from making into their threads. So I am curious what the 40K community really thinks.

Is it ok to have armies that are all male and all female? Should all armies be mixed gendered?

And before you start complaining that a website is a SJW to push agendas, maybe you should check policies of the website before posting on them.

This isn't news nor rumors but rather just typical BOLS rage bait unless GW decides to reverse the last 33 years worth of 40k lore since RT. Since that's not the case (yet), you're just generating clicks to a website that you obviously don't like. In any case, it's probably better left to the 40k background subthread instead of here and reformating the text so that you're not flame baiting responses. And, for the record, I think that making this change would be a monumentally stupid idea by GW but, given their recent hot takes, not entirely out of the realm of possibility in the next few years with the ever expanding Primaris and Cawl fluff.

They should totally run with female marines, especially with Primaris on the table opening the possibility of altering the fundamental 'biology' of the equation - unless you're arguing that gender discrimination is part of the reason the Imperium is a hellhole, but that's not a stance consistently taken across authors.

But I agree that this does not belong here, and by putting "SJW" in the opening query this will become nothing but flamebait.

In before the lock. Bols is a site that is always just in it for the clicks. In this case though it is just telling a story that is true. A lot of gw's most important lore is driven by financial reasons. The Horus heresy is a classic example. It only exists because gw wanted a reason why to identical armies would fight each other.

As for the actual question. The problem with reintroducing female space marines is that they are up against the inertia of history. They would need to find a very good way of doing it.
Maybe they could start with some experiments by Fabius Bike or another Slaanesh character. A lack of care about gender is very much in that god's wheelhouse.

Honestly I think if gw wants to redress the male female balance in 40k a revamped imperial guard range with more female minis would be a much better way to go.

I don't really want the lore changed but if it helps trigger bigots I'll accept it.
