I have only been back in the hobby for about 18 months after roughly 16 years or so out of it.

I kept an eye on the hobby over the years but it was finally a friend of mine wanting to get into it that made me take the plunge and jump back in. so for about a year I regularly played against my friend and then Covid hit and my friend lost his job and moved back down to Essex to be with his family due to lack of finances.

So now I am looking for places to go once this pandemic is over to play locally and wondered if anyone knew of or was a member of any clubs in the Stoke On Trent/Staffordshire area?

Hey Tristram, I run a gaming group in stone (about 20mins from Stoke) that meet on a Sunday and Thursday evenings.

Some of us have gone back to 4th as we’re not keen on 8/9e and where they are going with it (we’re not competitive players), however I won’t say no a friendly scrap 🙂.
