Lachesis Warclan in 9th edition.

Iron Hands, and by extension Sons Of Medusae, are not an entirely Codex Compliant Chapter. This is much more evident with The Sons of Medusa, who have an entirely different Warclan Structure. While Nominally Compliant in both Pre- and Post- M42, there are some deviations by necessity; the SWons of Medusae only have 3 Warclans and the companies are combined within these 3 Warclans. The 3 Warclans are: Magera(1st, 4th, and 7th Companies), Atrapos(2nd, 5th, and 8th companies, and Lachaesis(3rd, 6th, and 9th comapnies); each also has a variant of the 10th company as both Vanguard and training company, but at slightly less than full company contingent. This deviation does create (at full strength) a large force than Codex dictation, but the independent nature of each Son’s Warclan and fleet-based nature has caused the Inquisition to allow the larger-than-allowed total Chapter membership.

Warclan Lachesis was the First to accept the Primaris marine re-enforcements, and as such boasts the highest number. Warclan Magera still has the least number of Primaris marines and are retiscent to accept the Awakened, create new Primaris, or cross the Rubicon Primaris. Most Primaris accepted within Warclan Atropos are newly created or have crossed the Rubicon Primaris. This document Focuses mainly on Warclan Lachesis.

3rd Co Captain(Equivalent to Chapter Master of the Lachesis Warclan): After crossing the Rubicon Primais, Iron Thane Orros Pystokh, most often takes to the field most often with a Heavy Bolt Pistol, Relic Shield, and Master Crated Power Sword; although he will sometimes don Gravis Armor if the situation warrants. He holds both and awakened and a Firstborn Lt. While the Chief Librarian is Firstborn, the Master of Sanctity is an awakened Primaris. The Third Company Mixes elements of a Codex-compliant 1st Company and a Standard Battle Company, Holding a Full Chgapter Command, 3 Battle Line Squads, 1 Close Support Squad, 1 Fire Support Squad, and 5 Veteran Squads; Supported with various Dreadnoughts and Vehicles.

6th Co Captain: A Firstborn Iron Father, Noxyn Laspykh, prefers Close-quarters Combat. The 6th Company Includes only 4 Battleline squads, 4 Close Support squads, and 2 Fire Support Squads, supported by Dreadnaughts and vehicles. One of the Close support Squads is often fielded by Veterans with Terminator Honours, either wearing Tactical Dreadnaught Armor or in Power armor with jump packs.

9th Co Captain: Trakkus Glorh is an Awakened Iron Father who is flexible in personal Wargear, but prefers a ranged combat doctrine. The 9th Company is a more Fire Support oriented company with 4 Battleline Squads, 2 Close Support squads, and 4 Fire support Squads. The 9th are also known for having a larger Motor-pool than most of the other Comapanies within all 3 Warclans of the Sons of Medusae.

Auxiliary(10th demi-company) Captain: Shorggol Naehr is the Youngest Captain in the Lachesis Warclan Inducted when the Crusade Fleet Quartus Torchbearer force joined with the beleaguered warclan. Only in Comand of 6 total Neophyte and Vanguard squads, Naehr is still closely Allied with his demi-company Primaris Librarian and Firstborn Chaplain. His Lts often join the elements of his demi-company when they are seconded to the other battle companies of the Warclan.

This is the General Organization that I am using as Backstory for my Sons of Medusae army. Any questions of further breakdowns will be explained.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
