Hey folks, long time reader first time writer here. My lgg is currently re-starting to play regularly due to our excitement about 9th edition. We have the following armies: IG, SM (Ultras, Raven Guard, Salamanders), AdMech, Tau, Necrons and Chaos (mostly marines, less demons).
I offer Aeldari and own a bunch of CW. What i want to do now is make a new project, adding either Harlequins or Drukhari. From what information I could get, Harleys are in a more balanced spot right now, so I went with the clowns and built the following list. I know, 2 Detachments is not optimal with the new rules, but I wanted to bring units I like from both worlds together.
HQ Patrol, 480pts
Mask: Soaring Spite: Serpent's Blood
Troupe Master (Warlord)
2x 5 Troupes w/ Fusion Pistols and mix of Caresses + Kisses
2x Starweavers
CW Patrol, 470pts
Craftworld: Expert Crafter + Masters of Concealment
Wraithseer
5 Dire Avengers w/ Exarch + Shimmershield
3 Shining Spears w/ Exarch
3 Dark Reapers w/ Exarch
War Walker w/ 2 Starcannons
Thought behind this is splitting the army in half, concentrating with both Starweavers and Shining Spears on a weak/critical target, and using the other half to remain stationary. The Wraithseer can score the psyker secondary, can march forward if the backline is not threatened. I made MSU in the Craftworld detachment on purpose to use the Expert Crafter trait as much as possible and put both pistols and CC weapons on the Troupes to keep them relevant and a threat in every situation. Due to the mask they can shoot out of the Starweavers and the Master can even jump out and charge after moving. Since the tables are smaller now, this could mean a few charges in round 1 even.
All C+C is heavily welcome as well as recommendations for what to do with the last 50 pts. And thanks for filling this community with life!
