In My Lab

So, I spotted a thread I suspect to be spam. I reported it with "Possibly Spam".

After I had already hit the report button, I realized I possibly should've added more to the report. Namely, that it might just be a confused new poster who put it up in the wrong spot.

If a situation like this occurs again, should I just do a second report with the added info? Or would that cause some annoyance or whatnot on the moderators' end?

The system doesn't let a single user report the same post multiple times, so whatever explanation you put in the first time is it.

While a more detailed explanation is generally helpful, we do look fairly carefully at potential spam anyway, so we'll figure it out
