No, you cant. Crusade has its own rules, which are in the crusade section, and matched play has its own rules, which are in the matched play section.

No, “Crusade” is essentially a rebranding of “Narrative”. As such “Matched Play” is an entirely separate game type.

That being said, there is no reason you couldn’t choose to use points in Crusade if you and your opponent agree.

As others have pointed out, Crusade rules are part of the Narrative Play section of the rules (pages 305 to 355). Match Play rules are a different style of game (pages 279 to 305). So technically, you cannot use Crusade Rules in Matched Play.

That being said, you and your opponent are free to do whatever you collectively want.

These are the most important words you will read on this or any other forum. If you and the guy you are playing with think it's a good idea- go for it.
It might not be balanced and it might not lead to a good game. But thats a risk you take without amending the rules.

The only time it will matter if you enter a tournament.
