Hello dakka. Here is my very first painted army! It's a little tester army I've done in preperation for a bigger project planned for next year. My objective was to try some ideas for a more distinctive and unique style to use on my personal projects. There are still some details to work out on the process but overall I'm happy with the result.

Very nice work! And there are a few pieces in the Yu Jing range, there, that I've not seen before, having been taking a break from Infinity for the last 12 months or so, so it's nice to see some new designs.

Very nice indeed.

NMM Bronze, I presume? The black is also very nicely done, which is not an easy task either.

CHAOS! PANIC! DISORDER!
My job here is done.

Thanks. I'm not too familiar with infinity range, I've only ever painted them for money. But I've found that the design of the models fits my painting method so I thought they'd be a good choice to collect.

Not really on the bronze. I've been thinking that the focus on accurate color and material reproduction wasn't the useful for improving the quality of my painting. What I did with these models was to focus on what I though would make the models look good, which mostly amounted to form, contrast and details. It actually freed up a lot of time as I wasn't going back and forth trying to fix things to get them looking "right".
