I love that you went for realistic feathers on the wings and not electric blue like I am used to seeing.

He looks very realistic and natural. Impressive detail on the feathers. Reminds me of Lord of the Rings.

Then a thinned (1 part wash to 4 parts water) wash of army painter dark tone wash (equivalent to the old badab black)
